Govdeals

Govdeals 1 for 2.

I was going for my second purchase sight unseen because the gov is supposedly not a wheeler dealer. I've bought a car before from Olathe, Kansas and it was a great deal. Drove 600 miles drive and all the car needed was brakes and rear break sensors and the car worth almost twice what I paid.

Anyway, so I drive 2 hours in my home state of Iowa to 301 E 7th St Des Moines, Iowa 50319-1934

Bamo, this car was owned in rust. They did a great job with the photos by taking 3 photographs which didn't show rust and neglecting to tell me that the car had a P1698 check engine light. Some dumb fuck in an office is like "it is maintained every 5k for oil and 30k" but was unable or unwilling to furnish evidence of the maintenance.

Why didn't you mention the fucking check engine light or show photos of the rust. Tires are crap, car smells like feet, but rust...you.......dumb....sons.....of bitches. Neglecting to mention a check engine light even doubles the fucking scuzziness

Argh, with free blind trust you get what you paid.

Marta Marta Marta Morataya

Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
Marta Morataya stole from me
How about you?

Ebay is an interesting story in my 2004-2010 experience. I've bought books, computer parts, mini pocket sized camcorders, and even an old squad car from a nearby police department. Recently, I've reversed roles and became the seller of stuff.

Ebay about a year ago, I think, changed their policy so that only buyers can leave negative feedback, and being an occasionally screwed buyer I agreed with this and still do despite being just screwed as a seller.

So, back to my sales experience. I was selling unused computer parts. My plan was to refund without question if they complained to me. Like "hey it doesn't work" "hey it didn't arrive"... I like my 100% positive fb with almost 60 transactions and an account since 2004!

Also, as you may know, buyers of computer parts sometimes have no clue what they are doing, and it isn't worth the fight to explain to them that they may be paying more at best buy, but at least best buy can walk them through their stupidity. I figured, well I want good fb, and this is the price I pay.

So anyway... I sent it out the item, yes regular mail with no confirmation, because it was such a small dollar transaction, it wasn't worth the haul to a post office nor cost of additional shipping.

Anyway I found this interesting dispute through paypal...
Jul 9, 2010 Payment From Marta Morataya Held Details $10.99
USD -$0.62 USD $10.37 USD

(Temporary Hold)
Jul 14, 2010 The funds are not available while this transaction is being reviewed Placed ... -$10.99 USD $0.62 USD -$10.37 USD

I sent out a message through Ebay it goes
Received: Jul-18-10
Expires: Jul-18-11

Dear memoratay,

Marta Morataya, I noticed there is a paypal dispute. The dispute was 5 days after payment, and I wasn't contacted directly. This was over a weekend + 1000 mile distance. Please resolve this issue as you have received the goods.

This was my second message, she never has responded to either... Seriously, the buyer opens a paypal issue on JULY 14th when she paid on July 9th??? This isn't reasonable, plus over a weekend, for regular mail to be sent 1000+ miles. Also, how about sending a fucking email. This transaction was from a buyer out of California. Yep, screwed for get this $10.37 after paypal fees - and a 44Cent stamp. Stiffed for less then $10.

Anyway, some Asian customer with 350+ 100% pos fb sent me an e-check through paypal for the same item costing $10.37, but his fb is 100%,with 350 and he left all good fb, so he is trustworthy in my book. I sent it out, without even waiting for it to clear, because it would be a surprise for it to bounce.

I should have seen this coming though, because she had 4 positive fb at time of stiffing me. Oh, well to add insult to injury I won't be surprised if she negs me, but she seems to not have figured/cares to try the reply button, but I won't be surprised if my fb gets a -1 nor do I care, I left her a positive feedback with a honest review of her...

Anyway, yes I would have gotten more money simply by shipping this with confirmation to respond to the dispute, but hey, for other customers who didn't stiff me w/out confirmation, they got a great deal with low shipping. I can't believe I wasted my time writing this over a few dollars, but it might just be bottled up anger over all those who screw people. *Update* The scammer out of Vallejo California wins by paypals books. Apparently, you need to have "confirmation"...
